Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how The Right Path, operated by johncompton as a sole proprietorship, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Service. It describes what the application actually does.

Information We Collect

Account Information

Email address, your name if you provide it, your account role, and account creation date. Collected when you register or sign in (including via Google sign-in, which shares only what Google provides per its own policy). Stored in the platform’s user account system.

Assessment Information

Your answers to the assessment (personality, strengths, interests, work environment, lifestyle, money, education, and entrepreneurship). This is required to generate results. Stored in your assessment record, which is restricted to you and platform administrators. We derive a computed profile (trait, interest, and environment scores) from your answers; the computed profile — not your raw answers — is what may be sent to the AI language model to generate your narrative.

Optional Sensitive Information

Self-reported conditions (for example ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia, or other conditions you choose to disclose) and functional work-style answers (such as focus, sensory, and structure preferences). This is entirely voluntary. We collect and store it only when you affirmatively consent. It is not used to calculate your career match scores and is not a diagnosis. With your consent it is used to personalize your work-style analysis and may be sent to the AI language model for that purpose. Without consent, it is not collected, stored, sent to the model, or used. It is never included in any public share card and is never sold or used for advertising.

Astrology Information

Birth date, birth time, and birth location. This is entirely voluntary and is stored only with your consent. Only your calculated Sun sign and its traditional associated theme are sent to the AI language model as a reflective layer — your birth date, birth time, and birth location are not sent to the model. Astrology never affects your career match scores.

Generated Results

Career matches, compatibility scores, entrepreneurship analysis, work-style analysis, and AI-generated narrative text. Stored in your assessment record, restricted to you and platform administrators.

Transaction Information

When you purchase the Career Blueprint we store the order identifier, checkout session identifier, product, amount, currency, buyer email, and purchase timestamp. We do not store your full payment card details — card data is handled entirely by our payment processor.

Technical / Usage Information

The platform uses essential authentication/session cookies to keep you signed in. We do notcurrently use analytics, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking. Server-side logs may include technical request metadata for security and reliability; we do not log your raw assessment answers or optional sensitive answers.

How We Use Information

• To provide the assessment and calculate your career matches and scores.
• To generate your reports and AI-assisted narrative explanations.
• To personalize your work-style analysis when you consent to provide optional sensitive information.
• To process purchases and unlock purchased products.
• To maintain your account and provide account support.
• To protect the security and integrity of the Service and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for advertising.

Optional Sensitive Information

Self-reported health or neurodiversity information is voluntary and self-reported, not a diagnosis. It is collected and stored only with your affirmative consent, used only to personalize your career and work-style analysis, never included in public share cards, and never used for advertising. You can withdraw it by deleting it from Settings at any time.

AI Processing

Career match scores and the entrepreneurship score are computed deterministically from your answers and are not generated by AI. AI language models are used to write the narrative explanations around those scores. The information that may be sent to the AI model includes your computed profile (derived scores), your career matches, your entrepreneurship analysis, and — only with your consent — your functional work-style answers, self-reported condition labels, and your calculated Sun sign and theme. Your raw assessment answers, email, and astrology birth details are not sent to the AI model. AI outputs may contain errors.

Service Providers

• Base44 — hosting, database, authentication, backend functions, file storage, and payments plumbing.
• AI language model provider(s) — accessed via the Base44 platform integration to generate narrative text. Used only for service delivery, not advertising.
• Payment processor (Wix Payments, branded as Base44 Payments) — processes checkout and card details.
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in, subject to Google’s own privacy policy.

We do not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting third parties.

Payment Processing

Full payment card details are entered on and handled by our payment processor’s hosted checkout. We do not receive or store your full card number, CVV, or full card details.

Cookies & Tracking

The Service uses only essential authentication/session cookies. We do not use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because there are no nonessential cookies, no cookie-preference tool is required; your browser controls allow you to clear session cookies.

Data Retention

We retain your assessment and optional information until you delete it or until your account is closed. We do not currently apply an automated deletion schedule. Transaction records are retained as needed for legal, accounting, and fraud-prevention purposes. Where retention is no longer necessary, you may delete your data (see below).

Data Deletion

From Settings you can:

• Delete the optional sensitive information and/or astrology information from any individual result.
• Delete all your optional context across your results.
• Delete all your results and associated optional data.

To close your authentication account (which the platform manages), contact therightpathtest@protonmail.com. We will remove your personal data from the Service subject to any narrow retention required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including per-user row-level access controls on stored records and server-side secrets. The platform encrypts data in transit. We do not claim that the Service is “100% secure,” “unhackable,” “end-to-end encrypted,” or “HIPAA compliant.” No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16. The Service does not currently enforce age verification. If you believe a minor has provided information without consent, contact therightpathtest@protonmail.com and we will delete it.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact therightpathtest@protonmail.com. We will respond consistent with applicable law; we do not claim a specific statute applies unless its applicability requirements are met in your case.

Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Effective” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
